How Are You Treating Your Spouse

If I have learned one thing about getting along with my spouse, it is that Jesus treats me the way that my spouse wants to be treated by me.

Your spouse has flaws, just as you do. It’s easy to overlook our own mistakes when we focus on our spouse’s singular misstep. This is why it's crucial to prioritize the value of your marriage over temporary frustrations. Take a moment to reflect on how Jesus treats you during your own failings. Instead of panicking or shouting, He gently redirects you to the Cross, reminding you of His enduring love. In marriage, it’s essential to forgive, to remember the enormity of what we've been forgiven, and to closely follow Jesus’ example in how we treat our partner. Seek God’s guidance and grace to love your spouse as you’re called to do. He is always ready and able to support you at every turn!

Scripture Reference

'But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. ” ‘ - Mark 11:25 NLT
